Relaxing & Studios

I woke up just after 7am today. Who knows why, but I couldn't get back to sleep, so I updated my blog from yesterday (a little late, but better than never)! I spent most of the morning relaxing and chatting to friends. Then, my dad and I went to check out where Vista Way is. I thought it would be pretty easy to find, and I was right! It's directly beside Vistana! We were going to go shopping after, but I have packed everything I need, and so I have nothing to shop for! I'm probably bringing more than any other CRP anyway! So instead, we went back to the room to relax more.

In the afternoon, we decided that since it didn't look like it was going to rain we'd head out to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We hadn't eaten, so we went to the place beside Star Wars, and grabbed lunch. While I was reserving the table I had a nice chat with a guy named Jean from Brazil. He's part of one of the many tourist groups from Brazil visiting Disney now! Seriously, everywhere we go in the parks there are hundreds of teenagers from Brazil wearing their tour company's t-shirt. There are at least 100 teens per tour and we've seen about 6 different tour companies.

After lunch we went on The Great Movie Ride, one of my favourite rides! This was a very special ride, because just as we were entering the western the car in front was still there because it had broken down (we were the second car)! This meant that our gangster (1930's movie type gangster) "Mugsy" had to keep us entertained until it was fixed(it makes more sense if you've been on the ride). He used the time to look for "employees" for his business. First, he asked the two little girls in the second row if they wanted a job delivering packages. They were both very shy and declined (they don't need money, mommy and daddy buy things). So he moved on to the front row! The first guy, Earl, became "Big Jimmy" the bouncer, Carrie became the "Cigar/Cigarette girl", I was hired as "Jazzy Jenn" the new singer at the Kit Kat Club owned by Mugsy. Dad was hired as a Maitre D'. It was hilarious. I've never seen the ride break down like that before!

Next was The Little Mermaid show! We had Fast-Passes, but didn't really need them to get in. I love Disney in July... the lines are so much shorter than at Christmas! The show was amazing as always, and then we headed to the animation area. We watched the presentation and then I got to take the Disney character personality test. Apparently I am like Tinkerbell! I'm definitely okay with that. Tinkerbell is awesome!

Afterwards, we were going to stay to watch Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Fantastmic, but it was getting too hot and we were tired, so we just went back to the room. I know it's a waste of a day in Florida... but I need to relax so that I have all my energy for the next week! I can't believe I move into Disney tomorrow and all my dreams are coming true. I miss everyone back in Ontario so much, but I am incredibly excited to start this new adventure working in Walt Disney World. There's less than 14 hours until I move in... this is amazing! Can you believe it?!
