Since it's almost a month after my birthday, I thought I'd finally write my birthday blog! Here's what I did on my 22nd birthday!
I woke up pretty early and started to get ready (someone had called to see if something could be delivered between 9:30am and 12:30pm so I had to be ready!). I got a phone call and the "something" was there! It was this amazing bouquet of flowers from Alex!
Shortly after, my phone rang again, this time with a beautiful bouquet of flowers (complete with Teddy Bear) from Rob!
Around noon I was called to security to pick up something else... a cake from my Dad! (It was absolutely delicious!)
I also met up with Tracey, and while she was cashing her cheque at Publix she got me this Winnie the Pooh balloon (and Fried Pork Skins... an inside joke between the two of us). Here's a picture of me with everything that had arrived... I was so excited! I don't think I've ever felt more loved in my life, even though I was thousands of kilometers from everyone!
Tracey and I then bussed it to the Transportation and Ticket Centre and took a monorail into the Magic Kingdom. The resort monorail was the only one running, so I was able to get this picture of me and the Grand Floridian.
As soon as we got into the park we went straight to Guest Services so I could get a birthday button! Tracey ended up getting one too that said "Jenn --->" and it had an arrow pointing to me. It was really cute! Of course, I had to get a picture of me, my button, Main Street USA, and the castle!
Then Tracey and I went to get Dole Whips since she'd never had them. The people working there saw it was my birthday, and gave them to us for free! Dole Whip's are amazing... free ones?! That's just beyond words!
We went to the Enchanted Tiki Room (she'd never seen that either!) and then had a nice photo shoot with the Castle! <3After the photo shoot we decided it was about time to head to Epcot, so we took the monorail over (and even got to sit in the front to the TTC)! When we arrived in Epcot our first ride was Spaceship Earth of course! Tracey even convinced me to make a funny face for the photo. We made quite the classy team. After Spaceship Earth we headed to Test Track where we met Tracey's friend Dave. He was so nice and gave us a VIP pass to the GM Test Track Lounge! To get to the VIP Lounge you had to go into this "secret" door and walk down this hallway.
This sign told us we were almost there! The GM Lounge was so neat! We went up an elevator and wound up in the lobby, where we signed the guest book, and headed in to grab some free soft drinks and check out this awesome view of the ride!
Then we wandered over to the main part of the lounge to these gorgeous views!
When you go to the VIP Lounge you get a VIP Fast Pass for Test Track. Here we are with our pass!
There's an actual VIP Load Platform! You go through this door and then you're actually on the other side of the track and are loaded onto the next available car. It was amazing!
Then we took pictures in front of the fountain and Epcot 'ball'.At Le Cellier for my birthday dinner!Blue Glowtini (inspired by the Year of A Million Dreams)Prime Rib with Yukon Gold Potatoes and a Horseradish Cream sauce!... and my complimentary birthday dessert! It was absolutely gorgeous! After dinner we went around the world to each of the Kidcot stations making masks. I got someone from each country to write "Happy Birthday" or another birthday message on a mask for me! Then I took a picture with each of them... here they are!
Canada!
The United Kingdom!France!Morrocco!
Japan!America!Italy!Germany!China!Norway!
And Mexico!
In our trip around the world, there were some other highlights!
We stopped by the Food and Wine Canada kiosk for some pictures!
We also stopped by the Canada merchandise cart where Casey and Julie were :) Look what Casey made me!When we got around to America we stopped at Pearville where Tracey took this cute picture of me as a Pear Fairy!
As we were in Pearville we were listening to Starship in the "Eat to the Beat" concert series. Then, this song came on so we ran to catch it on video!
After Illuminations (watched from Canada, of course) I changed and headed to Bennigan's for a night out with some friends. It was so much fun!
Overall, it was the perfect way to celebrate my 22nd birthday, full of friends, fun, and Disney magic!

WOW Jenn, it looks like you had an amamzing time on your birthday! What's this VIP Test Track room?! It looks so cool, I never knew it existed! Only just over a month until I am there with you all having the time of my life...can't wait to meet you all! Kirsty xx
The VIP Test Track Lounge is the lounge for the GM Executives, or GM Employees to visit when they visit Epcot. It's located just above Test Track and you need a pass, or to be a GM Executive to get in! It's really really cool!
