RENT!

July 7th was an entire day spent with my roomie... Heather!  Around Christmas we'd found out that Rent was coming to Tampa, starring the original Mark and Roger!  So, naturally, we booked the time off and bought tickets. Having a day off on your last week is unusual, but because I'd booked it off so far in advance it was allowed.

The show wasn't until the evening, but since we both had the day off we decided to make the most of it by taking the day to explore Clearwater!  We wandered along the beach, went into the shops (they have some outrageous t-shirts there), and just enjoyed the Florida sunshine.

 

Then, of course, for a nice lunch/dinner we headed to Cracker Barrel!  Conveniently, Heather was seated next to a picture of heather.

The show was AMAZING.  Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal had all of the magic they have in the movie, but it's the theatrical version, so it's just better!

After the show, Heather (being a theatre guru) suggested we rush to the Cast Entrance to see if we could get some autographs (and photos)!  We were so lucky, we got autographs with a good portion of the cast including Angel, Maureen, and Mark (Anthony Rapp).  I can't even describe how excited we were to meet him.  Just look at the awesome photos!

  

This was an amazing day, and definitely worth the wait!  I'm so glad we got to have one more roomie adventure!
