Leaving Commons

July 10th was the day I had to leave The Commons.  I got up early, finished packing the car, took my final pictures of Commons, handed in my ID's, and received my package.  When you complete your program you receive a letter recognizing your employement, your final paycheck, your relocation reimbursemet, and a program certificate.

 

After leaving Commons I met up with Heather (my old roomie) who checked me into the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  My mom wasn't flying in until Saturday, and I figured if I was going to spend one last day at Disney, why not spend it in a savannah view room?

 

When Heather left I had some free time to properly pack my car (I had to vacuum pack things so that we could fit my mom's stuff), but fortunately, I didn't have to spend the night by myself!  Alison was free and was willing to join me for the night.  We went to dinner at Boma and then spent the evening watching the sun set over the savannah.  It was a perfect end to a wonderful program.
