Mom in Florida - Day 2 & 3

The second day of Mom's vacation was spent at the Magic Kingdom! We got there early so that we could be there for the opening! There was a little show and then we headed down Main Street USA to see the castle. We started off our day in Adventureland and worked our way around to Tomorrowland. Making sure, of course, to see the 3 o'clock parade!
And of course, we got to see Cinderella and Prince Charming in the parade! After the parade we went to get a Dole Whip float from Adventureland and then Mom wanted to ride the train around the Magic Kingdom, so we headed up to Main Street Station where I snapped this beautiful picture of the castle.
We rode the train all the way around the Magic Kingdom and then took a ride back to Toon Town where we visited Mickey's house! Here's Mickey's bedroom...
and Mickey's garden with giant, Mickey shaped pumpkins!and huge tomatoes... must be the super plant food he uses ;)All the pumpkins reminded me of Pumpkinfest so we decided to do a little photoshoot by one of the giant pumpkins. Here's one of the pictures!
We continued to walk around the park and stayed for the Wishes fireworks spectacular which we watched from just in front of the castle. Mom had never really seen Wishes (only the Christmas Fireworks) so it was really nice for her! Overall, a really great day in the park, we were even able to grab this spectacular picture of us, the castle, and the sunset!

On the third day, Wednesday, I had to work in the afternoon but we still got to spend the morning together! We went to the VF Factory store to look for some pieces for our costumes for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I managed to find the perfect Belle blouse. I really love it. We also went to Walmart where Mom found a nice pumpkin shirt to wear. It lights up whenever she moves... very cute! We went for lunch at Cracker Barrel and then I headed into work. When I got home, it was popcorn and a nice movie night, so even though I didn't have the day off to spend with her, it was still a great day!
